Is it just the inside envelope addressed? Whats the point? Is it really worth the extra money??

Honestly I don't think its necessary. I didn't do it, my invites were expensive already, I felt it was a waste. Plus I'm already paying $1.28 an invite for postage and another envelope prob would have made it higher. I would say skip them

I made my own invites & printed my own envelopes so there was really no extra cost for me.
I used the inner envelope to specify who is invited to the wedding.
Ex - outer says Mr & Mrs John Smith, inner says - John, Mary, Kid 1 & Kid 2

I didn't do it only because I used pocketfolds, so I didn't need another envelope.
