Are you putting names on the inner envelope? Thanks! I ordered my invitations, and I love them - if anyone is looking for someone I went to this womans house and spent over 2 hours there - she was very helpful - and her prices were very reasonable - let me know if anyone needs invitations - thanks!

Re: Inner envelope of invitations
On most of my inner envelopes I put Mr and Mrs Smith. Is that what you were wondering? Glad you were happy with your invites!

Re: Inner envelope of invitations
I am having names on the inner envelopes. For people very close to you, you can put Mom and Dad or Aunt Jane and Uncle Bob.
According to them, it's 'Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith' on the outer and 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' on the inner. Personally, we decided to go with first names only on the inner envelopes - regardless of etiquette rules - because 'informal' is more our style.

Re: Inner envelope of invitations
I agree with you Dora. I like the more personal addressing of someone on the inside and more formal on the outside. I actually just got an invite that had nothing on the inner envelope. I didn't like that at all!

Doing the same as Dora. I do care what is 'proper etiquette' . My inner envelopes will hae first names or even Mom and Dad!
