Which way do you put them in the outter envelope? Do the names face the address or does it go opposite the outter envelope? Oh the things you wish you didn't have to think about

Re: Inner Envelope question
The names face the back of the envelope so when they pull it out of the outer the names are the first things they see.

Re: Inner Envelope question
I was told to just remember flap to flap as you stuff. What are you putting on the inside envelope? Formal Mr. & Mrs. X or Casual Mary & Mike?

Hey - those people are invited to my wedding too!! J/K
My inner envelopes will be addressed as casual...'Mary & Mike'
now, my invites say Mr. & Mrs H. invite you to the marriage of their daughter....
so, the inner envelopes should be addressed how my parents would call the people, right? In other words my aunt and uncle wouldn't say 'Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ken' but rather 'Kathy and Ken'...

Re: Inner Envelope question
I was just thinking that too cause I thought it would be cute to write Aunt so&so but that wouldn't quite work coming from my parents!

Re: Inner Envelope question
we didn't address the inner envelopes with any names,(the invitation company told us not to) except for my one cousin and uncle, b/c they have the same name and my cousin(not a junior, gets to bring a date, but my uncle doesn't (no wife no g/f)

Re: Inner Envelope question
I've recieved invitations without the inner envelope being addressed. As a matter of fact I think I've only recieved one with the inner envelope addressed and that was recently.

Re: Inner Envelope question
Outer envelopes will be formal and the inner casual.
