Inner envelope question

Inner envelope question

Do brides usually have the calligrapher write on the inner envelope too?

For example: They are more formal on the outer envelope and then on the inner envelope they just write their first names (or something like that).

OR do most people just leave the inner envelope blank?

THank you!

Inner envelope is usually done by the calligrapher...its a little different as in you would put names of the invitee

ex:

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith (on the outside)

Uncle Joe & Aunt Jane (on the inside)

I printed mine on the printer-both inside and out so I would have the calligrapher do both-or ask and see what the norm is

If you do the inner envelopes it's exactly what she said above.. usually the calligrapher does that as well but the inner envelopes are less formal than the outer envelopes.
