Insanity

How long did it take those who went to work to get there? Me...almost 4 hours

I drive to work - Queens to Bethpage - and somehow I got to work today in half the time it normally takes me. Sorry you had a bad morning.

I live in Bethpage and work there so my commute is never a problem, but I feel really bad for all of you hiking into the city.

It took me 2hours to get from Queens to Brooklyn I am very nervous about the ride home, I am going to beg to leave early!

We (my mom and I) are getting put up for the night in a hotel. But I am only staying at the hotel tonight. If the strike continues after tomorrow they are on their own because I hate being away from home.

I stayed home. It wasn't worth the commute for me. I work in NYC midtown and I didn't want to walk 20 blocks from Penn in the freezing cold.

I did the walk. 34 and 8th to 47 and 5th. The walk was easy. Waiting on line for 2 hours was terrible. My toes were frozen.

I was very fortunate .. and took an express bus from queens where i live to Midtown - where i work. Green Lines is the only bus service running right now

My other option was to take the LIRR - but that would mean parking my car in a lot, and then taking the LIRR to Penn Station where my job would provide a shuttle van to my office. The express bus was much better!!
