So we went today to check out Westbury Gadrens for our wedding
FH liked it but was not so impressed by the inside area in case it rains the day of the wedding
So on the ride home he asked me to go home and ask my bride friends on that wedding site [his words] if anyone took pictures inside at Westbury Manor and ask them to send them to us LOL
He is too funny sometimes
SOOOOOOOO at the request of my fh if anyone has pictures from inside of Westbury Garden's Mansion can you please let me and FH see them.

Hmm I don't have any pictures, but I'd do a search for Westbury Manor on the Brides Review board, you should be able to find some pics there. HTH!

I did search from some but most every had amazing days LOL
FH is such a debbie downer about the weather on our wedding day
He doesn't want to spend the money and not use the space

This was FH's argument as well and ulitmately why we didn't book there.. he wasn't excited about the inside either (I was though!)

By the way... I'm assuming you're talking about Westbury Manor and their property? Unless there's a seperate Westbury Gardens with a mansion where you can take photos... if there is, that's not what I meant because i'm not aware of it...please correct me if I'm wrong, though.
OK, nm, I'm assuming now you're talking about Old Westbury Gardens and the mansion there. Sorry!! I was confused.

Have you spoken to anyone there yet speicially about photos? I just read on yelp that they don't allow any photos taken inside. Maybe you can neg a contract that states in case of incelement weather you can get your money back if they don't allow photos inside?

You are allowed to take pictures inside if you cannot take them outside
As for getting your money back that is a no go. I can't get my money back 8 weeks before the wedding to the wedding day.
The contract is 5 pages long

I may be wrong but i believe if it rains on the wedding day and you do not go to the gardens they will give you at least some of the money back if not all of it.. I will have to read over the contract again ( havent booked yet) but if you want to cancel for no reason just you dont want to go you cant get the $ but if the weather is bad that day i think you can get it back... as i said im not 100% sure though...
