inspired by Hotelcalie - Wedding photos on display

My cousin at his wedding had his engagement photo surrounded by photos of the bride and grooms parents and grandparents wedding photos. Everyone was commenting on how nice it was to see different generations of wedding photos. I would love to do that but unsure how something like that could be down since my FH's parents are divorced and only his father is remarried.
Is there any way to get around this - like by only doing grandparent photos (and then individual photos of the parents). Any suggestions?

I'm displaying pictures of FH and I, friends, and my parents. FH's mom and new husband, and our grandparents....

you can still display ones of your remarried parent..

Same situation. I think I will just display engagement photos and photos of us growing up and when we met in college (11 years ago!). I'm staying away from the wedding photos from the other generations because my mother is still a little sensitive about the fact that my father is married and she is not (though they get along very well). My grandmother (my mother's mother) became a widow at 49, so displaying her wedding photo will make her weepy.

Being that the father is remarried, I think you may want to go with the grandparents pics and maybe individual pics of his parents??? Or as someone else mentioned childhood pics.

oops forgot to write that I would like my photographer to shoot a pic of me in private with pics of my mother, grandmother and great grandmother in the backgroud. I like to keep the picture as a keepsake for my daughter or son some day..as a family heirloom.
