I have one who is suffering from uncontrollable anxiety attacks (she is on Zoloft and wants to come off to start a family, but can't ) one who desperately wants a relationship so she is willing to move to Florida to be near a guy who she has been corresponding with on the internet and one who wants to leave her husband because her 'what if' guy came back and she feels unfilled in her marriage and thinks this guy can take her away from it all.

Ugh!

. And here I thought I was alone thinking this. Why can't everyone just be happy instead of fighting and being catty? As the bride I feel I have to referee these ladies all the time

I totally understand .. I feel pretty isolated in my own life as well. Finally here's this wonderful time in my life when I'm supposed to be my happiest, planning my wedding (and I am my happiest with FH, don't get me wrong) meanwhile I realize that I really don't have many people (aside from FH) to share this happiness with. It can get me seriously DOWN

I'm also one of those who had to 'clean house' last year of the friendships that were causing me more pain than happiness .. including a best friendship that had lasted 15 years and went sour .. and while its painful, for my own mental-health and happiness is was 100% worth it .

OMG, this is me exactly...
I'm so glad we're all in this thing together!!

See what happens is that people who are friends for a long time usualy have alot of the same interest, and as we grow and mature in our own life and start liking new things it is not as easy to maintain the friendships.

I think this comes out alot around times like weddings is because, one person is making a huge change in there life and the other may not feel that is the same direction they are going or that the friend has enough of themselves to share anymore. So that person starts to act out and cause problems in the friendship because they are uncomfortable about how the friendship is going.

I have the girls that were in my BP, but they are scattered...and we're all involved in our little lives, while still trying to reach out of the circle to each other......I would just like to make my circle bigger....
