I didn't go to senior prom.
In college I wore the COOLEST dress to a fraternity formal. It was a vintage dress from the 20's that I found at an estate sale. Yellow silk (which had probably been white at one point) with beading and silver fringe. I LOVED IT. My *** would NEVER EVER EVER come even REMOTELY close to fitting in it now. I'd be lucky to get a single leg in.![]()

I think this was my homecoming dress. I lived in Florida at the time.
Here is my senior prom picture. I loved the dress, but the hairdresser messed up my 'do.

It was the 80s. I went to 2 proms and had 2 poofy dresses. For one of them, I shopped all over for Madonna gloves with the exact lace to match.

I soooo need to find a pic.
I had braces.
My dress, however- adorable- it was a flowey little sundress type thing- with a blue floral overlay and spagetti straps- remember when floral overlay was where it was at?
Yeah...- but the back was fancier- the straps criss-crossed with rhinestones.
My shoes, however- were these monstrous FOAM platform wedges. They actually fell apart, well- because they were foam.
I also had braces.
And Selena hair.
ETA- And long white gloves.
