Instead Cups for Conception

Have any of you guys heard about using instead cups to help aid in conception? I just heard this recently and thought it was...umm..interesting.

I believe they are intended for when you have your period, sortof like a diaphragm, however I have heard of women using them to help TTC in two ways.

1) after DH does his thing you insert it to keep the swimmers in
2) DH does his thing IN the cup, then its inserted with the swimmers.

I have not used this, just read about it.

i tried one of those when aunt flo came to visit. well, lets just say i don't think i could try that route again, but i did say the same thing about tampons in JHS. well, i pinched the circle part together and went to insert it, but i had to let go...well, it sprung open mid insert and hurt a lot. sorry if it is TMI, but that was my experience.

Mims that is what I have heard too. On a TTC bnoard I am on, girls are raving about this and about 10-15 girls are staying that they got PG the first month they tried this.

Thats very interesting! I was in cvs over the weekend and saw that (for the first time)! Is this a new product?

I thought it was new too, but when I went to the web site it seems as though these have been around for quite some time.
We are getting to the point where we will try anything no matter how wierd/silly it may seem.

I actually LOVED instead cups..I used them many years ago when it was that time of the month..they were AWESOME..it sounds strange, but you can have sex with them in while you are having your period. I never thought to use them to help with conception..but hell, Ill try anything!!!
