Instead of doing a candy buffet?!? HOW ABOUT....

a COOKIE BUFFET!

alot of you on my other post were anti-candy apples. soooo i was thinking....i could do candy apples as favors and get a bunch of different fall cookies (the ones on etsy i loveeee so much) and so a whole layout of cookies for everyone and everyone gets a bag and they can fill it up!

good? bad?

i actually have been to a wedding where they did this! they had a huge table of cookies and left cartons for you to take the cookies home. it was yummy!

the wedding was in pittsburgh and appearantly this is pretty common there.

thats why i picked candy apples!! cookies are always part of a VH so if you really like those, you can order them and serve them during the VH!

I'm not doing a VH ...there will be cookies as part of my international coffee bar though. but not FALL cookies

I like this! I also like the idea of doing brownies with all different flavors, maybe not a whole buffet, but as a favor. They have these awesome mini brownies in the city with every flavor under the sun. I think boxing 4 of them together would be perfect. I also like different kinds of popcorn for favors!! You wouldn't think white chocolate/peanut butter popcorn is good but OMG it's delicious!

OMG that is just a great idea. My FMIL and FFIL were telling about a wedding they just went to and they had a candy bar but a cookie bar is much more my style. Such an amazing idea!
