Instead Of Guest Cards....

I went to a wedding in April, and instead of guest cards, there was giant frame...enclosed were the guests' names listed in alphabetical order, in calligraphy. I thought it looked great, but wondering if anyone else has seen this, and who offers this service?

I think it is a good idea. It is different, but I think it is important how many people you have. I don't think it should be used if you have more than 100 people. There will be a huge crowd around the frame and it will take a while for people to find their seats.

True, but people also crowd around the card table...plus, your not searching for your card, it's in alph. order in a huge frame, you glance at it and sit down...but I wonder who does this? Who do I go to?

I have seen this a few times, in Instyle and Martha Mag.
www.bloomingquill.com is my calligrapher. I am sure she can help you. Plus because she does not live in NY her prices are much better.

I love this idea. If you have a larger guest list you could make two identical boards and place them on strategicly plus give your matred a copy of the list to assist guests with if a crowd develops around the boards.
