Instead of petal cones...
Can I just fill up a couple of large baskets with petals and hand them to people in their hands so they can throw them?
I went to a wedding a few months ago where they did this and I'm like, 'Wow, that's so simple!'
Is it tacky? Is it a cop out?

i went to a wedding last summer and they did that.
only thing was all of mine fell on the ground because i wanted to take pictures

We had baskets of petals! I thought the same way you did, wondering how it would look, etc.
It worked out great.
