We've received hotel info with a save the date before, but the wedding was only a few months away when we received it, the actual invite came a month later.

I think this is fine to put with the STDs. I am also putting my hotel block info with the STDs since we have such a large number of OOT guests.

I think it looks great and will be helpful - why not include it now so people have plenty of time to decide, or even save $ for the room ...about the shuttle just ask that people book in a timely manor so you can accomidate all shuttles to and from RH

I included the hotel information with my STD's as well as having an accomodation cards made up with my invites. JIC! However, change it to a group of rooms HAVE been etc..... and include the telephone number to the hotel.

I am putting mine with the STDs, in fact my mom doesn't believe in STDs but thats the only reason we are sending them out, because if we go over our estimated room block number and the hotel books up your out of luck. But if people book earlier you start to get an idea of how your doing room block number wise.

I have not blocked any rooms yet. I was wondering how this works with the hotel. Do we put down money to hold the rooms?

It depends on the hotel whether you have to guarantee any rooms. I don't think you put money down even if you do, you just pay for the rooms if you don't get enough. I will bump the room thread from yesterday.
