Fh and I insured the ring this weekend... yaaaay! It makes me feel sooo much better!!!!! We went through statefarm .... and got it's own policy.. it was great.. very easy to deal with them...... and insurance turns out to be around 115/yr..... so it's like $10 a month... we couldn't turn that down.. it gives us great peace of mind..

i dont know why, but i thought it was going to cost a looottttt more... thanks for putting the 'price' i wanted to do it... because you're right it does give you a piece of mind...

does that cover, lost, stole, loss diamonds, or if you lost a diamond? I have my insurance with Jewelry mutual and i have a $0 dec and it was only about $50 to insure my ring it goes by the weight of the ring.

It's full APPRAISAL VALUE.......no matter WHAT HAPPENS TO IT yaaaaaaaaaaay! and it got appraised higher than what FH spent....so I was like YAAAAY---I FEEL SAFE NOW

that is great, isnt a relief!!! when i did mine i was like now i can wear it with out any worries.

That is terrific. FH insured mine before he gave it to me because I lose everything. And it just makes me feel so much better!

I'm such an air head. When you said State Farm, the first thing I thought of was my car insurance. I guess I always thought you had to go through jewelers for jewelry insurance, lol.

My FH had it appraised beforehand..... by a jeweler.... so we just had to bring the paperwork to statefarm

Does anyone know of a jeweler that does appraisals? Do ALL of them do it? I know FH got one from where he got the ring...but I want an outside one.
