Does anyone know where I can get a stand alone Jewlery Insurance policy? I dont have a homeowners policy bc I dont own a home, nor do I have renters policy. (I live w my parents and dont want to ask the to insure it).

Re: Insuring Your Engagement Ring
I insured my ring through Jewelers Mutual...I did everything online. I went to jewelry judge in Mineola and he appraised it. Then i scanned the paperwork onto my computer and uploaded it on the website. It is so worth it! it's so inexpensive and G*d forbid something happens, you're covered.

Honestly - you'll be so much better off asking your parents to add the insurance to their policy and then just paying them back. It's SO much cheaper that way.

Jeweler's mutual.
we couldn't add a rider on our policy.... long story with flood zone changes.... but anyway - we had to get a stand alone policy...
