Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal

After reading someone else's post on here (I can't remember who) I'm thinking of getting this for the various events leading up to the wedding and HM so that I can be done with the treatments by the time next January rolls around.

Can anyone tell me info about how safe it is and any doctors (preferably in Rockland, Bergen, Westchester Counties, or Manhattan) they know who are good and reasonably priced? I don't live near LI so anything past Manhattan is out of the question.

From what I understand its safer than laser because it doesn't go as deep. I think you need more treatments with it than with laser.

It depends on the machine but some are not too be used if you have any sun in the past 4-8 weeks. So make sure you work with someone who mentions this to you before you start.

I'm almost done with underarms arms, face, and moving down to legs and bikini next.... its so painless I can't stop.

I really can't believe its not more popular. I guess for a long time it was super expensive, more than regular laser.

Hopefully word will get around and give those derm doctors a run for their money. It doesn't require a doctor to use, just a technician.
