Interesting Walmart tidbit...they'll honor TOY store circular ads!

I knwo they do food ads because that is how I shop down here in Georgia, but they also do other ads!!

Did you know that there are stores that will honor
competitor's advertisements? All Wal-Mart superstores will
honor competitor's ads and, in my area, so will Meijers. You
must take the sales ad in with you. It must be the same item,
although they will match store brand for store brand, and they
will not give rain checks. However, it sure beats driving
around to different stores wasting gas.

I find this tip especially helpful the day after Thanksgiving
when there are so many great bargains in so many different
stores. Last year, I bought several items that Toys-R-Us, Best
Buy, and Target had advertised for their day after
Thanksgiving sale at Wal-Mart and was home before noon!

Yes, they honor any actual price in an competitor ad. However, they won't give % off or anything like that.

I would think so Sue....but the few times I've done this here in GA with food, they only ask for the price, not to see the circular. I guess if they see me holding circulars, they know I've got something!
