Interfaith Brides

I just wanted to say I'm here to help

I'm Catholic and DH is Jewish. I spent YEARS planning our wedding. I'm thinking of starting an interfaith blog.

I love talking about interfaith issues, and especially weddings.

Many people told us our wedding ceremony was so moving and they were really impressed at how we weaved our faiths together. it took a lot of thought, research, and planning.

So, if you want to discuss anything, or need some advice, please let me know.

I just posted a few pics on the NW board where you can see our priest and rabbi, and DH wearing his yarmulke in church while we exchanged rings under the tallit that served as a chuppah.

Do you have a program that you did. I would love to see what you incorporated into the ceremony. We are interfaith but are not being married by a priest or rabbi but I like to see how different people do it.

DH did our programs. I'll see if he can get me the word file, or maybe I'll just scan one when I get home. Our program was several pages long since we explained everything.

(The explainations would probably help me because whenever I ask my FH about something from the catholic side I get... I do not know! )

Sounds like when I ask FH something about the Jewish faith!
