Hi Everyone- I am looking for an interfaith ceremony location in Nassau. We are having our reception at the Westbury Manor on a Fri eve, and we would like to have our ceremony at another location. I have already looked at the CW Post interfaith chapel, but I am worried that my guests will not be able to find it. Any other suggestions?

Re: Interfaith Ceremony Location
Are you opposed to having your ceremony at your RH or are they just not available? That would be easiest for everyone, especially since it's on a Friday.

I agree. We had our ceremony at WM and it was beautiful. Guests loved that they could walk straight from the ceremony into the CH!

Re: Interfaith Ceremony Location
The Cocktail hour starts at 8:30, so the ceremony would have to start at 8pm, which means we wouldn't be able to have a priest and a rabbi because the rabbi is observing the sabbath at that time. Unless you know a rabbi that would be able to do it?

We had a priest and a rabbi as well. The rabbi we used will officiate whenever wherever, we got married on a Saturday evening, but it was still right before sundown. He's veeeeery liberal.
We are looking for the same thing! Giving this a bump. Anyone know of any other locations for an interfaith ceremony in Nassau?

Re: Interfaith Ceremony Location
The historical chapel was not really what we were looking for. It was right by Woodbury commons, and the door of the chapel was about 20 feet from a fairly busy stretch of Jericho. The chapel has very limited parking, I counted about 15 spots in the lot, and about 15 or so in the neighboring lot. That being said, the chapel is actually very nice inside, the restored pews give it a very historic feel, and it is a nice cozy place for a small wedding. However, the CW Post location is much nicer.
Has anyone found any other interfaith chapels or ceremony locations?

Re: Interfaith Ceremony Location
I had an interfaith wedding and my Rabbi was able to do the ceremony before sunset.
would you consider a park or someplace outdoors where you could rent a tent in case of rain and otherwise have it in the sun?
maybe westbury gardens or planting fields? don't know if they do that - or vanderbuilt mansion....

Re: Interfaith Ceremony Location
This might be a bit late, but I am too having an interfaith ceremony with a Rabbi and a Priest. The company is called interfaith clergy and we met with both the rabbi and priest in Northport. We are getting married on a sat night at our venue and they had no problem doing it. Phone number is 856-779-0017

We are havinf our Jewish-Catholic wedding at the RH. We had also considered outdoor areas, public parks, beaches or gardens.... but it seemed to be too much hassel. Good luck!!!
