Interfaith couple searching for temple to attend. Any recommendations?

As I've stated before, my FH and I are a interfaith couple. We recently met with our priest and he strongly urged us to get back into the swing of things and back to church on the weekends. We have decided it would be a good thing to do, but we also want to go to temple. Does anyone know of a temple that would allow us to attend Friday night services (forgive me if I am wording all this the wrong way...). I know that during the holidays they charge for the families to attend, but if we want to go on a weekly basis, do we still have to pay? Can we walk into any temple? Please help.

I am not 100% sure but I DO believe that you must be a member of a temple to go to any services.
I would suggest calling some temples in your area and talking to the cantor or the rabbi and maybe asking if you could please sit in one friday night without joining.

I think that if you wanted to try out a temple it wouldn't be a problem to sit in on services, but if you are planning on going on a weekly basis, you may have to join. That's very nice that you are both going to preserve each others religions. Good luck

You can walk into any temple for Friday night services, unless its a holiday. You don't have to pay for services, but it would be nice to join if you'll be going regularly. They can't make you join though, and if the membership is too much $, you can try making a smaller $ donation to the synagogue.
