interfaith ketubah?

Did anyone ever hear of interfaith ketubahs? I'd like to purchase one but from what I see they look the same as regular ketubahs. Has anyone bought one and if so, where from? TIA

I bought my interfaith ketubah from ketubah.com.

I think the main difference is that the text is in English as well as Hebrew and also does not really mention God. It just really emphasizes the marriage and what it means.

If a rabbi isn't marrying us, can I still get one?

I believe you can, are you having a cantor or someone of that sort? I think who ever is there representing the jewish religion can sign the ketubah, but I'm not positive.

ETA: ok, you definitely can, I just looked at the text of one of the ketubahs I am looking at and the blank space where the person is supposed to sign says officiant, which can be anyone

Got ours off of ebay. It is in english and the text is very modern and talks more about marriage, etc. than god and religion.

We purchased ours from the the Jewish Museum. If you are not being married by a Rabbi or Cantor, I would speak with your officiant before purchasing your Ketubah to make sure that they will sign it. We confirmed the language with our Rabbi and who was able to act as witnesses prior to purchasing our ketubah.

HTH!

This is where I got my interfaith ketubah too. Great website!
There are 6 or so different interfaith text options to choose from. In addition, I was able to choose all English, or English/Hebrew (I chose both).
I picked the text that I liked and emailed my cantor to make sure it was ok with him.

I'm not sure if FH and I want a ketubah yet (we're both Jewish) we haven't discussed if we want one but it's nice to know where to get one inexpensively.

ketubahketubah.com is amazing...they have a TON of ketubahs for both jewish/jewish and interfaith, as well as same sex, anniversary...etc.

You can also preview the text...what you do is set up a gallery, pick 10 you like, and then decide what text to use!

www.ketubahketubah.com

They also range in prices, and you can have it personalized...you can have them phonetically spell out anyone's first name in hebrew
