Interfaith Rabbi

I need some suggestions for a Rabbi who will do an interfaith ceremony. We ran into an issue that our Wedding date is the last day of Passover. We did not realize that when we booked the date. So if anyone knows any of any liberal rabbis please help..

Actually, depending on which denomination you (or your FH comes from), you're in luck. For some Jews, Passover is only 7 days, and I believe the Reform movement only observes 7 days... and that means that Passover is over the day before your wedding.

You may have a tougher time getting a Conservative rabbi there, as the last two days of Passover (for those who observe 8 days) are holy days and I don't know how many Conseravtive rabbis would officiate on that day.

We used Rabbi Frank Tamburello for our interfaith ceremony. I'm not sure if he will do a ceremony around passover but you can give him a call. 631-987-5347.

Rabbi Block. He performed my wedding with my priest and my girlfriend's wedding and another friend's son's wedding. All interfaith marriages.

im using Rabbi Charlie Agin. and im getting married in the middle of Sukkot. I didnt realize it until the orthodox rabbi i had said he couldnt perform the ceremony! He performed my friend's interfaith wedding.

I feel weird askig this, but does anyone know how much a Rabbi charges (ballpark)? FH just asked & I don't know...

We are also using Rabbi Block & another priest.. I met him during our pre-cana & he was so nice. He actually reminded me of my grandfather

Rabbi Allen Stein is pretty flexible and liberal. He was willing to do a Saturday afternoon if we needed. Good luck!! He is located in Plainview.

on long island, the price range for jewish clergy is approximately $500-1200.

but since you are getting married during passover, the price might be on the higher end (if you can find a rabbi willing to perform the ceremony during that time.)
