Interfaith Weddings

I am luthern, my FH is catholic. we are getting married in a catholic church with a interfaith wedding.

i have heard through the grapevine so different things about a interfaith wedding.

Am i allowed on the alter?
Are there anything else that I can't do or have to do differently?

Anyone recently get married in a catholic church who wasn't catholic?

my friend is getting married and her FH is catholic and shes not. Shes asked the church if they can be married there and they agreed to, what I would do is contact the church and see if its ok with them, you might need to do a precana with them.

We did precana at St Pat's already. We signed the paperwork that the children will be raised catholic.

Just wasn't sure about the alter thing. People have been saying it depends on the church.

Guess I will just have to contact them.
