What week do you start getting internals again? Not sure if I should expect one tomorrow...? (My 36 week visit)

I think it was the last month - every week - so at 36 weeks if I were you I would be prepared for one!

I would guess that at 36 weeks, they will do one. (MY baby came 5 weeks early so I never made it to my 36 week appt.)

The docs like to check and see if your dilated and effaced... I dont know why, its not like its an indication of labor or anything.
Also they do the strep B test... which is a swab around your vag and anus... something else to look forward to

It's not an internal sono, just an 'internal' to check for dialation. FUN

Sorry... just comes with the territory. I remember when I went for my very first sono with Emma... I didnt know it was an internal. I wish I would have been filled in. Better to know whats gonna happen right?

Oh my- that brings back a memory for me - with my first internal sono - when they came at me with that 'thing' I was like you want me to put that where?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
