Interview today

My brother in law handed in my resume with the company he works for and the HR recruiter called me last week and asked me to call him the next day at 2:30 for a phone interview, well I did that, and he wasnt there. He had an emergency meeting. So we played phone tag for a week, and finally he left a message on my home machine yesterday to come in today. So I have my suit jacket and my tie in the car, and I am wearing a dress shirt and slacks today.

It is like 96 degrees in here. I dont think they turned on the a/c yet.....ugh.

Hopefully it goes well with this interview. Most of you know how unhappy I am with my current company.

Danielle and I are scheduled to go to Mexico in August. Should I say something today, or should I wait until they hire me, or if they hire me lol??

when they ask you about a start date, at that point i would inform them of your vacation plans

I wouldn't say anything about the vacation right off the bat. See how the interview goes, and if you get a positive vibe from the interviewer, you might want to mention it. Or you could wait when they call you back for a 2nd interview or offer the job.

I've been in this position before. I waited until they hired me and I then I told them. Usually they wont give you a problem about it

Yeah it was ok, but it wasnt for me. He is going to keep my resume in the computer and he gave me his card to call him once a month to see if anything has opened up yet
