I've been lurking around here a bit lately. My name's Kris; FH and I have been engaged since a few days before Christmas and are now starting the planning stages. We're looking at a late summer/early fall wedding next year, though our budget may dictate otherwise - maybe a bit later in the season. We both live in Queens but are most likely going to book in Long Island - there just aren't that many places in Queens that we're crazy about that haven't already (recently) been used as venues for friends/family weddings.
