Hi!! I'm Jacki and my FH is Mike, we're both 28. I'm originally from Suffolk, Mike's from Westchester, and we have an apt (5th floor walkup!) in Manhattan. I'm an accountant for a private equity fund, and Mike is a not-for-profit real estate financial professional and is getting his MBA. We've been together 3 years and are getting married 10/02/10 after a 13 month engagement.
This site is AMAZING - I've booked a lot of my vendors through it and like to read some of the hilarious posts whenever I need a quick laugh!

Hi, I'm Adriana and my fiance is Steve (hence the AdriandSteve). We've been together for almost 4 years and have been engaged since Christmas of last year and are getting married in Sept 2010. I'm a caseworker/social worker/grad student who moonlights as a dancer lol. FH works in marketing. I'm from Valley Stream and he's from Floral Park.

I'm Christine, almost 25 and FH is Andy and is 25. We have been together for 5 years, we met at SUNY Stony Brook in ECO108. Andy is a design engineer and I'm a financial analyst. We bought a home in CT a few months ago but we are both from suffolk.

My name is Carla, FH is Mike (yes, another one) and we've known each other for 16 years, I think, though we haven't been together that whole time. We did date in high school, however, and then things started up again when we came home from college in 2002. Wow, I feel old! We are both 29 and he will celebrate his 30th on our hm!! We got engaged last October and are planning our wedding for June 25, 2010!! He is a Phys. Ed teacher on LI and I work at a museum in the city. Nice to meet you (and everyone, haha)!

Hi I am Jeannette (27) and fh's name is David (26)..he calls me cougar..lol but i'm only older by 9 months.. We met at work...we both work for the same bank in the exciting world of hedge funds...its been a bumpy ride, but it's slowly settling again. I'm from jersey and he's from bk.. we just bought an apt in jersey and have a beautiful view of the waterfront.
oooh and i just realized our 2 yr anniversary is coming up on 11/30 : )

Hi and Welcome! The funny thing is, I never formally introduced myself, I just kind of, started posting!
I'm Becca and FH is Stephen. We're getting married next October (Less than a year away!!!). FH and I have been together for almost 10 years and we're basically best buds. We met on a blind date that was set up through mutual friends that were seeing each other at the time. They are no longer seeing each other, but we held out! I am 26 right now and FH is 27. When we get married, I'll be 27 and he'll be 28.

Hi!
I'm Rachel and my fiance is Nick. I am 25 and he just turned 30. We'll be engaged for almost 20 months when we get married. I had to have a fall wedding! I work in the city at an asset manager and he works on LI. he is a CPA but has been private for a few years now. We live together now in RVC, both grew up on LI, I grew up in Bellmore, him in Franklin Square. Before I moved in with him I moved into the city for a few years after graudation.

My name is Heather (29) and my FH is Mike (yes another one) now I know why I couldn't get any screen name with Mike and Bride in it! I am 2 months older. We met in April of 2006 at a trade show in Las Vegas (my saying is what happens in vegas moves in with you!), and were so lucky that he is from LI and I am from NJ.... July of 2007 I quit my job and moved to Eastern LI to be with him.
I now work at a non-profit in development and fundraising, and he owns his own company.
We got engaged on 12/19/08 and WERE supposed to be getting married 10.1.10 at Atlantica...
We stopped looking for a new venue b/c it got to be too stressful and too much pressure - I hope we can start talking about it next week again.

Hi!! I dont know anyone either!! My name is Cheryl. My FH is.............MIKE...LOL. I am a 3rd grade teacher and he is a cablevision technician (woohoo free cable!))
We have been together about 3 and 1/2 + years and engaged since July..3 months. We currently live in Babylon but we purchased a house in West Islip and should be moving in the next week or two !

My name is Elena and I'm 28, FH is... surprise, surprise - Mike... and he's also 28. We live in CT but just -had- to get married by the shore - so LI it was :) I'm a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Mike is a Service Advisor for Toyota. We've been engaged since April and are getting married this July.
I haven't been much of a poster, but you girls have been SO much help already - fabulous ideas!
