Introduction Songs

I'm just wondering what some of you are thinking of playing for the Bridal Party's introduction into the reception. I'm only going to have one song played for them (rather than each couple getting her own). I was thinking 'Another one bites the dust' by Queen would be funny (esp since most of my bridal party just got married this year). But what do you guys think? I'm trying to go with more humor rather than sentimental for this. there will be enough sentimental songs later on, plus me and my FH will be coming out to 'Eye of the Tiger' so let's keep it light. lol.

What are some of the songs you guys are doing? I'd love to hear your ideas

my dad's fave disco song was Disco Inferno so that's what i had the bp come in to. it was great :)

We had the parents and bridal party enter to 'Living in America' by James Brown, and DH & I came in to 'Eye of the TIger'. We love the Rocky movies!!!

Yeah, me and my FH are coming down to that one. Partly for the same reason as you, but also because that's his name (Rocky). We just thought that'd be funny.

But I'm still not 100% positive on what to have for my Bridal Party. hmmmmmmm..........

for the parent/granparents we are using 'in The Mood'

bp - not usure thinking maybe dance to the music by sly and the family stone...or something more lively.. iwas considering we're all in tis together because i love hsm... but i dont think i am doing that anymore

for us we are also doing eye of the tiger... it is a sentimental song me me and my dad and he passed away so i have to use it!!!

The Final Countdown was what we used. I love the intro to that song and it was a cliche that it was the final countodwn until we were officially announced as husband and wife for the first time.
