Investing and Finances for the future...

I am 26 3/4 yrs old and FH is 26 and change.
I would like to start thinking more about our future financial goals, retirement funds besides 401K options, education programs for both of us (both plan on returning to get Masters), home buying, savings for our future children.... and on and on.

What books or websites do you find most helpful in your situation, any 'basic or newbie' sites or books would help. I purchased a couple of books and they have helped me but I would really like to keep up on learning something new on our financial future and what is out there for young bucks like ourselves.
Any newsletters out their in cyberspace we can get e-mailed or forums we can join out there for people our age?

you can have catalogs sent to you (free of charge) and they are really helpful.

also looking anything by Suze Orman. She has videos and books about finances and planning for the future

There is a good book out there that right now thats really popular...something about 'financial mistakes for couples to avoid' or something like that. I thought that had some good tips for people our age.

Another book which is older but still has a good deal of very basic but very usable information is 'Your Money or Youre Life'.

Another book I recommend is 'the millionare next door'...not because it gives financial strategy but it examines the lifestyles of your average millionaire. After reading that book, I stopped feeling bad about not having piles of money because those people live miserable lives
