Invitation addressing question

Invitation addressing question

I'm not inviting kids except for the FGs and RBs. On those envelopes should I put:

The Smith Family
123 Main St.
Anytown, NY 11111

and the names on the inner envelope

or

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Miss Katie Smith
Mr. Daniel Smith
123 Main Street
Anytown, NY 11111

on the outer envelope

TIA!!

How old are the RB & FG? I gave mine their own invites but they were 7 & 10 and they loved getting their own. If they are younger then I would say The Smith Family on the outside and everyone's name on the inside.

I would address it to Mr. & Mrs. Smith and on the inside envelope write their names.

If they have children in the bridal party you can add their names to the inside envelope or you can send them their own invite.

Mine were not as formal.
I had this on the outside:

The Smith Family
123 Main St.
Anytown, NY 11111

On the inside I wrote

Uncle John, Aunt Joan, Katie and Daniel

(obviously, if they're not an uncle or aunt you could leave that out)

I personalized everyone of them because we were hosting the wedding, not our parents and I wanted a warmer feeling when they opened the invitation.

I did that too but if youre not inviting every child from that family Im not sure I would write family on the outside envelope.

Id be afraid they wouldnt look at the inside envelope and Id end up with more kids

They're my 7 year old niece and 5 year old nephew. I don't think I'll give them their own invitation.

I'm so ready for a party weekend, Lisa!!

Just do The Smith Family or Mr. & Mrs. Smith on the outside and then John, Mary, Timmy & Katie on the inside

I think I need to buy something cute for Saturday night ... hmmm, where to shop?!
Oh and I need freckin dyables by Saturday - no idea where I am going to go for that in the next 2 days!

That's what I'll do with the envelopes. I have nothing to wear this weekend either. ANd no time to shop. I'm going shopping for the dyeables today. I hope it's quick & painless!
