I got my invites last night and need to mail them out asap.
I've got two questions -
Has anyone run their envelopes thru a laser printer? Did it look OK?
How did you close your envelopes? I don't want to lick everyone and those water thigs seem messy - I was thinking about using a glue stick - what did everyone else do?
Thanks!

Re: Invitation assembly questions ... help...
I ran my envelopes through an ink jet printer. ( I find it easier with ones that are top feeders) As for seeling them I used some kind of envelope sealer stick and a seal

I had my calligraphy professional done so I can't help you there.
As for the sealing, I used a damp sponge. It wasn't too messy...just a pain in the ass.

Thanks ladies!
Did the ink from the ink jet printer run at all? FH says we should do it on a laser printer because the ink jet ink could run or smear. Did you have any problems?

We had no problems with an ink jet printer. The envelopes looked very nice. I also used a damp sponge to seal the envelopes, then banged them with my fist to make sure they were closed. I was afraid to lick the envelopes because of what happened to George's FI Susan on Seinfeld!
