Invitation Budget

Invitation Budget

Hi Girls-

Hoping you'll be able to help me out. I'm trying to plan my budget for invites/stds/programs/menus and I have nothing to base it off of! I'm meeting with someone next week to go over some ideas and I would like to have a ballpark figure that I can go in there with, to know if I'm getting a deal or if I would be better off giving up my first born lol

How much did you budget/get quoted for your stationary? What did that include (just invites, invites & stds, no menus, etc)

Thanks!!!

Re: Invitation Budget

we're not doing menus or programs ... table numbers and escort cards are provided for free by our RH so we'll just use those.

The cheapest NICE invitation we saw was just under $4 each. This was a 'normal' invitation, not pocket fold or anything. The fancier ones can cost as high as $10 each or even more, obviously

We decided to DIY them and ended up spending approximately $1 on each. They're simple but we love them.

IMO, that's fine - invitations get thrown away anyhow so we'd rather save the extra money and use it towards something that people will actually remember that's just me though

Same here-RH provides menus; table numbers direction; place cards-not doing programs.

I've seen invitations at about $3-$4. I will probably make DIY one's and hope to stay around $1-$1.50/each.

We're getting our invitations done overseas so we're hoping that save the dates plus invitations and shipping will cost us all under $1000....we hope...

The only thing we are paying for are the invitations. Our RH provides everything else you mentioned. I am paying anywhere from $5-6 per invite.

They didn't mention stationary to me, just that they had many options for linens, they had a ton of corks, and you could rent their CPs. If you do find out let me know!
The invites I want would cost about $300. I'm probably going to get them cheap from 123print, for no more than $100, and spend less than $100 on DIY programs, menus, and escort cards.

I'm going to email Bill tonight to find out. I'll shoot you a message after I hear back.

I'm going to FM you because I have another question about VC.

Thanks!!
