Alright ladies, I have a question about ordering invites. My guest list says that I will need 113 invitations for a total of 219 people. Okay.....so, my question is, do I order 125 invitations or 150? There are a few people at my FH work that he might invite which wouldn't be more than 3 or 4 and then I can see maybe his mom or dad forgetting 1 or 2 people....thoughts?

Are you getting them done by a calligrapher? If so, I would do 150 since they'll need extras for errors and they keep some in case you want to add later on. I only needed 57 invites, but I ordered 75 and ended up just about right, believe it or not. Go for more, it's only a couple of dollars more vs. a whole new order for 25.

Get 150. You're always better off having more than less. If you invite more people (like we did)....Plus your photographer & videographer will each need one, plus you may want a couple for yourself to do things with.

I would go with 150. It's cheaper to order more now (and you might need the extras) than to order an additional 25 later. I ordered about 25 extra for our wedding.

I had the same problem I needed 141 invitations for 286 people and I ordered 175 just incase my calligrapher made a mistake or we wanted to invite peopel last minute or my or my FH's families decide to add to the list at the last minute. For us 25 more envelopes would have been $55 where 25 whole invitations was $167--our lady told us that it is easier to order the extra ones now & who knows how many extras you or your family will want.
