invitation dilemma!

well, after reading a post from a bride on this site, i fell in love with the invitations from lizard designs. however, it looks like i might not be able to get them because they are not taking new orders during their relocation. has anyone seen similar invites from another vendor?

how long will it take for them to get back to accepting orders? Can you wait that long? How long does it take for them to send you the invitations?

Hi Sandy! Oh no! I used Lizard Designs but didn't know that they are relocating! Here are some other sites I found on my hunt for invites that are similar to their designs. Good luck!!!

Thanks Dina. I contacted Lizard Designs to see if there is anyway they can help me. Fingers crossed b/c their invitations are so great and quite inexpensive compared to some of those other sites you gave me (thanks for trying by the way, I do appreciate it).

No problem Sandy! I know what you mean about Lizard - I searched high and low and just couldn't find anything I liked as much! I had to ask Liz to fit me in also b/c i almost ordered too late. My second choice was Gaddis (which I loved their designs as well ) and was one of the closest to Lizard's price.

If you are talking about the Elise design from Lizard, I was also looking for something similar. The closest I found (and I don't know that it was very close) was in the William Arthur (social?) stationery book at Lion in the Sun. The example in the book is a tri-fold invitation with a square cut out on top (except on the bottom page), so that could be used for initials. The hard thing for me was thinking of what could be put on all the different sides, although one nice thing about this invite was that, b/c there were so many sides, you wouldn't need a reception card.

It's a total bummer that Lizard Designs is having to close up shop. Not just for brides, but also for Liz!

ETA: this invitation would work for most of their designs, not just the Elise design.

Try posting on the vendor board- I just got about 4-5 posts from people that have my invite.

I went with Favorite Things Invites.
