Invitation DISASTER

Invitation DISASTER

We sent out the invites on Sat, and one of my BMs called and told me she got an EMPTY ENVELOPE!!!
We noticed before we sent them on Sat that they were starting to unstick and thought we went back and reinforced them all. I am totally freaking out now. I don't know what to do, there is nothing I can do... OMG I don't believe this.

I am sure once your family and friends receive an empty envelope they will contact you. Dont worry, I am sure everything will turn out just fine. Try to pass the word thru friends and family that you had a problem. Hang in there.

Re: Invitation DISASTER

Other people have called to say they got it, they were ok.
I am calling my friends to find out if theirs were ok...
I am worried that if this happened to FHs guest and our more distant relatives they will have no idea what it was cause it only has our address on it and no name.

Don't worry Lauren, it'll be ok. You and FH should start making phone calls, I'm sure most of them are fine.

Yeah, we have been calling people and they have all said so far they got them fine.
It would be ironic if this BM was the only one this happened to because she was the one who helped with the invites and it was all of hers who were coming open; she didn't put enough glue on.

I think it was just fate that she got it since she wasn't using enough glue! I hope the rest are OK!

Re: Invitation DISASTER

Thanks everone... We made a lot of phone calls/emails yesterday and everone we talked to has gotten theirs intact. It must have been a freak thing. In fact, one of my co-workers said hers was sealed so tight she had trouble getting it open!!
