Invitation Hell

It took me four hours to assemble the invites last night!! Mind you - this was only for the out of town guests and family!! It's so exciting though!
ETA - FIL keeps adding people - mind you - invites are already back from calligrapher - so I am handwriting the additions - serves him right!!

Oh I know how it feels! I did my own calligraphy also! The invites were the worst part by far!

I had a whole saga with us having to us friend of in-laws who screwed up whole thing - we ended up cancelling order with him and ordering with Party City - very happy with service and they came fast and were 30% off! I don't know where you live but I went to the Party City in Merrick and the manager Joe was very helpful!

Ugh... I am not looking forward to this. FI has refused to stuff the invitations. Maybe I can put some bridesmaids to work...

I told FI he didn't have to help write or stuff, but in return he had to lick them (sponge wasn't working well) so he sat down and licked 150 envelopes!!

I am having a 'Let's Assemble My Invitations' get together at my mom's house on Sunday. It will consist of my mom, sister, and 2 sister in laws. I will also start putting my favors together as well.
