Invitation help

Hi girls,
this is kind of a dumb q, but how are you guys printing the TO addresses on the envelopes?
are you guys doing that by calligraphy, or do some co's print it for you?
for my save the dates i printed the envelopes myself..
just wondering! :)

Re: Invitation help

we hand wrote ours.

Many companies will usually do the return address and brides would either write, have a calligrapher or print them out.

Re: Invitation help

i love beautiful hand calligraphy but the fact that it's hand written doesnt mean it's done well. We had our envelopes printed by our invitation company in the same script as our invitation. they came out beautiful -- i didnt have the time to hunt down a great calligrapher and i got lots of compliments on them. FM me for details

We had our To's printed in the same font as the invitation.

My best friend and I sat and ran each envelope through the laser printer at her office in a calligraphy-looking font. The return addresses were pre-printed. The return and To fonts weren't exactly the same, but nobody, not even me, noticed! I know a lot of people don't agree with me, but I really thought that spending an absolute fortune on invitations wasn't the way to go-- simple and classy - they get thrown out!

i had my address printed on the RSVP envelopes. For the invitations themselves, I had clear labels made. It came out very nice.

i ran my envelopes through my printer and printed them in a really nice font, i let them dry then flipped it over and printed the return address on the back

Re: Invitation help

My invitations came with my return address printed on the flap. For the TO addresses, I just used a nice font and printed them out one at a time using my laser printer. They came out nice, but it was a lot of work getting the addresses centered correctly on the envelopes. And I had to feed each one through the printer one by one otherwise they kept getting stuck.
