This may seem stupid but I never pay attention to invites when I get them....
If I am inviting the 'Kramer Family' am I listing each individual name on the inner envelope? Also, when inviting someone with a guest, do I list Joe Smith and Guest on just the inner envelope or both?

If you're putting The Kramer Family on the outer envelope I would list each individual on the inner one. For the one with the guest, I would just put Mr. Joe Smith on the outer since that is who it is getting mailed to and put Mr. Joe Smith & Guest on the inner so they know that they are allowed to have a guest.

ITA with this.
In my case I don´t think I´ll have an inner envelope. I´m going to write the names directly on the response cards. This way everyone knows exactly whos invited and I make sure they fill in the names correctly so I know who is resonding when I get it. About 90% of my guests have the same last name. (since my dads side is italian a good portion have the same first name too!!)
