A friend of mine had this situation and this how she worded it... her mother went back to her maiden name and her now MIL re-married so all the last names were different so it worked out... this is what she did:

Mr. John Smith and Ms. Mary Jones request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Jane Marie to William Thomas, son of Mr. William Brown and Mrs. Linda Martin at......
blah, blah, blah...

HTH.....

I have a different situation. My dad passed away and his parents are divorced, one is remarried and one is in a long term (10 years) relationship.

We went with not metioning them at all because we were paying for it and didn't know what else to do. Here is what we wrote:

The honour of your presence is requested at the marraige of
Gabrielle C S***
and
John P M******
on Saturday the twenty third of June
two thousand and seven
at half past two in the afternoon
Saint Raymond's Church
East Rockaway, New York

The other option we considered was:

Together with their parents
Gabrielle C S***
and
John P M***
request the honour of your presence.....

Good luck!!

if you don't mind informal wording:

together with their families, Bride and Groom invite you to celebrate their wedding at.......
on (date).....

That way, no one feels excluded and the invite doesn't sound so complicated....
