invitation help pics

i've had my invitations designed for a while now, but i haven't sent in the contract yet.

last night, i was showing my fiance the invitation for the final time to make sure he still liked it and he didn't

i thought the corner accent gave the invitation a little something extra, but he hates it and doesn't want any corner accent; he just wants it to be plain. now i'm confused! is it too plain or does it look cleaner without the corner accent?

note: there will be crystals on our names; some of the pictures have them, some don't.

please helpppppppp

I wonder why he hates it! Personally I like the corner accent, but if he really hates it, then I think either keep it pain or maybe look into doing the corner accent smaller?

he thinks it looks too busy.

I like both, however, I had the same issue with FH and he felt the accent corner was busy and we went with the plain one.

my DH had the same issue with the invites- he didnt like any of the accents or swirlie lines- we went with a plain invite with ribbon on the corner.

She put all the guest names in the response cards with the seats reserved...so it looks pretty nice.

i tried that too, but with my design, i felt like it looked naked in the other two corners.

Personally I like it the corner accent, but if that's the biggest compromise you make with FH, then it's not so bad to just leave it out and make him happy. Just my opinion!

I personally like it with the corner accent but FH was the same way, he thought our invites were too busy but it didn't stop me from getting them lol.

I guess it depends on HOW STRONGLY he doesn't like them. Like if he is really against it, just let him have it because they look good eiether way

I like both, but I kinda like the corner ones a bit better. Would he be open to a different corner design? or is he against it completely?

personally i like the corner design - im using it

but if your FH really hates it, i say let it go. no reason to fight over it unless you REALLY love it.

i like them with the corner accents, but you will both have to compromise and do what works best for you.
maybe you can do the corner accents and get rid of the crystals on your names? or vice versa?
