Invitation help please

OK so i am in the process of getting invitations and i need some help with the wording. My parents are divorced and re-married, so i wold like to include all of them on the invitation. So here's what i was thinking...

Steven and Laura Stern
Marcia and Maurice Levin
and
Joan and Julius Redling
blah blah blah blah

I don't want to say Mr and Mrs. Maurice Levin because i want my mom's name to be shown (here's my step-dad).
Anyone have any advice or opinions??

Also if i get inner envelopes what is the protcol for the wording of the names on that , versus the outside envelope?

i think what you have is fine.. It is your invitation, and it is ok to be unique.

As far as the inner envelopes are concerned, we are going the informal route. For example instead of mr. & mrs. John smith, we are going to write Jane & John, or Mom & Dad...

I think thats fine. We didn't use Mr. and Mrs. Last Name either on the invites -

We did
Dad's name and Mom's name Last name.

My mom wanted to put her name first, but my dad was really against it.

bayla - We know eachother, and you were are my wedding!! You have FM!!!!

Just write.... Together with their familes...... Jane Doe and Michael Man invite you to........
