We are getting married on September 3rd. Our RSVP response date is 8/12. We have lots of OOT guests. And, we are getting married on a holidya weekend. I do have a small 'B' list - but our A list is around 240 - I am a bit worried (the hall holds 200 comfortably, 230 not so comfortably), but many are telling me not to worry, because we should be around 200 or so. I would love to get the B list involved (maybe around 10 people or so), and want to give them ample opportunity to respond.
So here is the question - when should mail the first 'A' invitations out? I am really anxious to know head count (more for peace of mind that I did not go overboard or anything, lol).
Thanks.

Re: Invitation mail date?
IMO you are cutting your rsvp date close...but i would mail the b-list no later than mid-july and the a-list BY july 1....
but in all honesty, i would change the rsvp date to august 3, mail the b- list no later than mid-july and the a-list which would traditionally go out around july 3rd, mid june. it is a holiday weekend and you could run into issues with YES replies even from locals as they might have a final weekend planned for the summer. jmo though

Re: Invitation mail date?
I think you can send the A list out on July 3rd (or maybe wait until after the holiday.) Then the B list two- three weeks later. Is that enought time?

Re: Invitation mail date?
I already have the RSVP date on the invitations which are done. So, I guess I will mail the A list out almost 2 months before the wedding, hoping to get quicker responses. Thanks for your input girls.

The last week of June for the A-list and no later than the 12th of July for B-list
