invitation mail date

So our budget and our reception venue cannot go over the limit of about 150.

We getting married in st. louis, MO where my family is and his family lives up and down the east coast.

We are getting married in November and have an A & B list going.

When should the first round (A list) go out? Half of the invitees would be flying in so I know they need more notice (we sent our STD out in Feb) but I want to make sure that the second round (B list) would have enough time so that they don't think they are left overs.

Please help!?

I would say around August 21st since your wedding is Nov. 2nd, then put RSVP Oct. 1st.

So first round by Aug 21, second round Sept 21 with RSVP by Oct 12 or so? (we know the vendor so we can get two diff resp cards printed)

Or do you think that is still too short of notice for the B list, 5 weeks?

that sounds good.....I think 5 weeks is plenty of time! I have family travelling from PR and I sent out their invites last week. What you can do is send out a reminder or 'newsletter' just to give your guests a clear picture of what you plan for that wedding week. From there you'll probably get phone calls telling you who's coming. But the date you're planning sounds fine!
