My mom went to the post office yesterday to ask about postage for our RSVPs, which are due May 25, and was told that there is a *chance* that postage might be going up in a few weeks . . . this puts a nasty wrench in our plans. I guess we are going to use the ugly liberty bell stamps on the RSVP envelopes, since I can't count on people to realize they need to add extra postage . . . how bad is that?
Just FYI for people sending out invites in the near future - it might be worthwhile inquiring about the postage.

i asked my post office people about this and they said that it wasnt going up... but my RSVP is May 10th... i hope it will be ok...

I asked too and they said they have no scheduled rate increases.

Honestly Carla, no one cares about the stamps, lol. I used the forever stamps on my rsvp envelopes and haven't heard a word about it.

I just went to the post office and bought forever stamps for my rsvps.... i really do not care.. they should be glad that i am putting a stamp.. lol.. j/k

this happened to FH's cousin. The stamps went up after she already sent the invites and she didnt know. So she had to email everyone and basically let them know to add 2 cents! she felt so bad!
