How much is everyone spending on invites??? What is considered average for about 100 invites plust the RSVP's.... Need some advice before tomorrow. Help!

I am paying at $1.50 an invite. Americanwedding.com We are gettinga simple invite nothing crazy.

my budget is around $1600 (for 200 invites), but im just a psycho, most people spend around $500-$700 i think

We ordered ours from apprinting.com (that's the only site that offer what we want) We paid $300.00 for our invites including RSVP & Directions card.

we used Now-and-forever.com Great quality and it was about $130 for 100 invites, inner and outer envelope, response cards and seals.

We want pocketfold invites and for 100 we were getting estimated costs of $600 dollars. To save a lot of $ we are printing them ourselves. I got all the paper we will need for 100 invites on clearance ( $200 including shipping and handling from cardsandpockets.com) We just have to print them at home and add a few small details to dress them up!

i do not want to spend over $300 for 100 invites. this is something that i personally feel i can cut back on budget wise, since most people will just trash the invitation anyway, not going to go crazy.. JMO!

We spend a little over $400 for 100 invites including response card, reception card and inner/outer envelopes. We also had a satin bow that we attached to each invite so that was a little extra.

I just ordered mine yesterday...
100 invites and RSVP card and envelope. Our reception and ceremony are at the same place so we didn't need any other inserts.
With tax and shipping it's $930. We only need 75 so it stinks that we have to order so many more.
