I have a few choices right now, and I'm curious where they fall with pricing...
So my question is How much is each set costing you? Including -invite -outer envelope w/ printed return address on back flap -lined inner envelope -response card & envelope w/ printed return address -reception card -colored ink for all printing
(If you did DIY, please include the cost of all supplies - paper, fasteners, ink cartridges, etc.)
NOT including postage!
I'll attach a poll if you'd rather stay anonymous.
Thanks!

Re: Invitation Pricing
Right now, my least expensive option is about $2.90 a set, most expensive option is about $5.80 a set, with a few options in between.
They're all very similar - nice thick cardstock....some are pearlized, some are matte - all are raised printing....
I'm so undecided, and of course, FH is like, 'Uh, they're all nice - I don't care.'

Don't you just love when they get so involved in the planning? Personally I didn't want to spend a lot of money on invites because I know that most people will just throw them out. Have you looked at any online stores? I ordered mine from invitationsbydawn.com.

yup, these quotes are all 30% off from online stores Thanks! And I totally agree about not spending too much, but I'm pretty set on what I want, I just have to make a decision and stick with it. No one has any opinions - I've asked both sets of parents, my BMs, even my BROTHER - everyone says 'they're all plain, but nice. Any one of them is fine.'
argh!

Re: Invitation Pricing
This reminds me- I need to call Inklinations and see if they are done.
While on the phone- I'll ask how much I ended up spending although I'm scared.
BRB (I'll edit)
ETA: They are not open yet... I will call after 10 b/c I think they will probably open then!

Re: Invitation Pricing
Mine are coming out to be around $6.50 each... for 125 invites
That is 1/2 DIY and 1/2 professional.
I wanted the look of professional raised printing so I ordered a invite that will fit into a pocketfold. I also ordered the RSVP, and the Recpetion cards this cost around $350.00
I then bought the pocketfolds from Paper presentation, with a background card color, and envelopes for around $350.00
Then I ordered ribbon from Japan which is around $70.00
and I am going to do wax seals which will cost well so far like $5.00 for the seal, and then I need to buy the wax.
Then I bought glue for like $10.00 like 3 bottles.
So I guess its like $875 so far??? gggggeeeeezzzzeeee never listed it out.
Hope that helped.

Re: Invitation Pricing
I did:
125 Invitations which included invites,Outer Envelope w/ return address printing, response card w/ envelope & return address on that. The ribbon & monogram. I think that was like 5.25 or so
I then added:
125 Inner Envelope 125 Reception Cards
I did my inserts on ivory silk which was a 40 dollar flat fee
My total was $980

Re: Invitation Pricing
OK I spoke with the lady!! I am not going to edit the first post- just add a new one...
FOR 175 INVITES: (we have a lot of people )
$546.00 Invite w/ Return Address printed and Double Envelopes
$265.00 Reception Card
$375.00 Response Sets (addresses printed too)
Subtotal: $1186.00 plus $102.29 tax
Total: $1,288.29
(Not as bad as I thought actually )
ETA: if you put 175 into 1288 it comes out to about $7.36 (give or take) an invite.

Re: Invitation Pricing
ours were $14 each, but we only needed 50....
My sad rationalization? Well, the mulberry paper we selected is extremely light, so there's no extra postage
