invitation pricing?

Does anyone have an idea as to what price range I should be expecting for approx. 125 pocketfold invitations? I'm not necessarily looking for DIY, but I'm not against it either....all I know is I'm currently arguing with FH who seems to think we can easily get this accomplished for $200, $300 max. I think we'll be lucky if we can do it for under $500, but I really have no idea!! All I know is that I'm tired of looking for invitations

I didn't get pocket folds, but I did just get my invites and thank yous - I paid about $447 for 100 each of:

Large square invite
Outer envelope w/ return address
Lined inner envelope
Response card
Response card envelope with return address
Reception card
Thank you notes w/ our names on it
Envelopes for thank yous w/ return address

All with navy ink

The pocket folds I saw were running about $100-250 more than these invites on average. Some were less, some more (but some of the 'plain' invites were running that much more than these... I just happened to fall in love with this particular invitation and that was the price). I was budgeting $500 for invites without thank yous, but we got 25% off the list price on our invites.

We went to Invitations and Beyond in Oceanside - they had a big selection and all price ranges. I think I saw some DIY packages, too.

I agree, however, that it will be difficult to do 125 pocket folds for $200-300... that doesn't mean it can't be done, though!

I have been pricing pocket-folds now for the past few weeks. I too like you need 125 invites and have gotten quotes anywhere from $4.25 per invite including reception cards, rsvp cards, and direction cards but not thermographed and the quality of paper was a little flimsy in my opinion.

I have also gotten quotes up to $1200 with thermography.

I don't think you can find any pocket-folds for under $500.

At least good quality ones. There are some pocketfolds out there for approximately $300, but the quality is not the same, I can FM you for that info.
