Can anyone tell me the approximate cost of theirs?
I want to save moeny on this because although I would love to have a stunning invitation, i feel that they go in the garbage in the end anway and I just would feel its not going to impact my wedding day in any case so I am willing to save in this area. Can I get something simple but elegant still for a not of money? Im thinking not a lot is under $200 for about 100 invites.

Re: Invitation pricing?
You should try exclusivelyweddings. com, I ordered my save the dates, and they were nice STD's, reasonable and prompt. I ordered my invites from there, they should arrive on Tuesday, they were $215 for 125. They will send you free samples too.

Re: Invitation pricing?
Check out Party City. They have quite a few books of invitations to choose from, with many of the same designs found at print shops and they are always 30% off. I spent less than $250 for 100 invitations, and it took less than 2 weeks for them to come in.

Re: Invitation pricing?
I recommend ordering samples first so you can see how they feel. I was going to go with some $300 invitations but when I got the samples, they were so thin and not the quality I wanted. I wound up spending $930 for 100 invitations, envelopes, rsvp cards, rsvp envelopes, and return address printed on the envelope. The invitations are thick and high quality. Most invitations stores you go into, will give you 20% off invitations anyway so don't look at the list price.
I actually saw some nice ones at Target. The paper seemed really heavy and were beautiful. If you want to add a personal touch, you can add ribbon, a little sparkle, or a colored paper layer on the back.
