Invitation problems!!!!

I ordered my invitations 2 weeks ago. 4 days after I ordered them, the proof came in and the font was tiny--much smaller than the sample. So, I asked for a different font in a larger size to be more legible. The second proof still has not come in, and we are having them addressed by hand and I am getting very worried about the timing here, especially since the second proof must then be approved, then the real invites printed. Has this happened to anyone else? I paid in full so I am so worried I will have no invitations and be out the $$.

can you get the envelopes before you get the invitations? That way you can start addressing?

That's a great idea!

I didn't have the same situation, but my calligrapher wound up taking 3 times as long as he said he would (6 weeks instead of 2 weeks). That only gave my guests 3 weeks before the RSVP date.

Thanks, I am ordering through a vendor so I don't know if she can have the company ship just the inner and outer envelopes? That is a good idea though.

Could you FM who the vendor is? I want to avert problems like this since I am cutting it close to begin with. TIA!

I had the same exact problem and had them ship me the envelopes first. It saved a bit of time

I am having same problem and got my envelopes yesterday to address. Invites will be in shortly.

yeah i would just see if you can get the envelopes for now so they can get started
